About
GlobalInternship Hub was co-founded by Ligia Azevedo and Sherren Jielita, both
international students at Brandeis University. Having personally encountered the challenges of
securing suitable internships in the U.S. as international students, we recognized a common
struggle among our peers. Studying in the top 6th university with most international students in
the U.S. shed light on the strong need for a solution to this problem. Most students shared our
frustration with the arduous task of looking through lengthy eligibility requirements or even
completing applications only to discover later that they weren't eligible for the positions they
applied for. GlobalInternship Hub seeks to break these barriers that prevent international
students getting internship opportunities, making this process more accessible and efficient
